Delete your account

How to delete your TimeNest account from the app or the web, which data is deleted and which is retained.

Last updated:

This page explains how to delete your TimeNest account, the appointment management app developed by TimeNest, and what happens to your data. It applies to the Android and iOS app and to the web dashboard at timenest.app.

After you request deletion you have 30 days to change your mind. After that period, the account and its data are permanently deleted and cannot be recovered.

1. Delete your account from the app

  • Open the TimeNest app and sign in.
  • Go to Settings and, in the Account group, tap Delete account.
  • Review the summary of what will be deleted.
  • Type ELIMINAR to confirm and tap the delete button.
  • You will see the date your account will be deleted, 30 days from now, and you will be signed out.

2. Delete your account from the web

  • Sign in at timenest.app.
  • Open your account menu, at the bottom of the side menu, and choose Delete account. You can also go to Settings → Delete account.
  • Review the summary, type ELIMINAR and confirm.

3. 30-day grace period

Deletion is not immediate. Your account is scheduled to be deleted 30 days after your request.

  • During that period you can still sign in to your account.
  • If you own a business, its public booking page is turned off and stops accepting new appointments.
  • To cancel the deletion, sign in, go to Delete account and tap Cancel deletion. Your account and business become active again.
  • When the 30 days are over, deletion runs automatically and can no longer be cancelled.

4. If you can't access your account

If you no longer have the app or can't sign in, write to us at contacto@timenest.app from the email address you used to create the account, with the subject “Account deletion”. Include your business name, if you have one.

We acknowledge your request within 5 business days and, once your identity is verified, we schedule the deletion with the same 30-day grace period.

5. Data that is deleted

  • Your profile: name, email address, phone number and photo.
  • Your sign-in: the account is permanently blocked and cannot be used again.
  • Your business, if you are the owner: profile, logo and gallery, branches, hours, services, team and invitations, customers, appointment history, reminders, message templates and the history of notifications sent.
  • Integrations: the Google Calendar connection. We revoke access with Google as part of the deletion.
  • Devices: the identifiers used to send you notifications.
  • Files: the photos and images you uploaded.

Events that TimeNest already created in your Google Calendar are not removed along with the account. If you want them gone, disconnect the integration in Settings → Integrations before requesting deletion.

6. Data that is retained

  • Subscription payment receipts: we keep them for 5 years, the period required by Mexican tax law.
  • Deleted-account record: we keep only the account's internal identifier and the date it was deleted, to prevent it from being reactivated by mistake. It does not include your name, email or phone number.
  • Backup copies: they are overwritten within a further period of up to 90 days.

If you were part of another business's team

Your access and any pending invitations sent to your email are deleted. Your staff profile and the appointment history you handled belong to that business and remain in its account. To have them deleted, ask the business directly.
